Gold'n Crispz are a brand of potato chips that first appear in the season 2 episode "Ludo in the Wild".

Appearance

Gold'n Crispz come in a gold plastic bag. The front of the bag bears the Gold'n Crispz logo in large lettering, with "GOLD'N" on the top and "CRISPZ" on the bottom. Between the two halves of the logo is a strip of lighter gold with a potato chip inside a blue circle. There is a blue sparkle of light at each of the four corners of the bag, and the bottom-left corner also has a trademark logo that reads "MSG".

History

In "Ludo in the Wild", Ludo discovers a bag of Gold'n Crispz while drifting through the void between dimensions, but he is unable to reach them due to the void's natural gravitational pull. He later sees the bag of chips while going down a mudslide, but once again, he is unable to obtain them. One month later, Ludo discovers the chips lying in the snow, but they are snatched away from him by a giant spider. After battling the spider for dominance, Ludo seizes the Gold'n Crispz as his prize.

After eating all the chips, Ludo starts wearing the empty Gold'n Crispz bag as clothing, and continues wearing it from this episode onwards (with the exception of "Bon Bon the Birthday Clown").

In "Gift of the Card", Janna eats a bag of Gold'n Crispz on the Diaz family's couch while texting on her phone.

In "Running with Scissors", Pony Head eats Gold'n Crispz while on a treadmill "doing cardio".

In "Toffee", after Toffee's defeat, Ludo is thrown into a dimensional portal by Star at his request for soul-searching. For good measure, she conjures up a bag of Gold'n Crispz and throws it in the portal while promptly wishing Ludo good luck.
