Other events

It is unclear when the following events take place in the series' chronology:

Trivia

  • An unnamed character with a thick beard and glasses, referred to as the "bearded birthday hipster" by series songwriter Brian H. Kim,[30] states that it is his birthday twice in the series: once in "Pizza Thing", and again in "All Belts are Off". If this character is to be taken at his word, then "Pizza Thing" and "All Belts are Off" take place at least a year apart. Therefore, it is possible that "Pizza Thing" does not take place in the series' chronological order of episodes. However, it is also possible that this character is merely being untruthful.
  • According to Marco in "Collateral Damage", the Bonner Party founded Echo Creek in the winter of 1846. However, a memorial poster for Otis the possum outside Mr. Candle's office reads "1782 - TODAY".
  • Marco states in "Collateral Damage" that the Bonner Party's victory over the possums was "the last time Echo Creek won anything." However, an Echo Creek Academy trophy case in "School Spirit" has trophies and plaques for the years 1963, 1979, 1985, 1987, and 1988 on display.
  • In "Starcrushed", Star is unfamiliar with the Earth season of summer, suggesting she's been on Earth for less than a year. However, several key points contradict this:
    • According to Star and Marco's Guide to Mastering Every Dimension, Star and Marco's first year of high school is set during 2014-2015.
    • As of "Gift of the Card", Star and Marco have known each other for at least six months – in addition to the period of time it took for Marco's Quest Buy gift card to expire.
    • Star has been on Earth long enough to celebrate Halloween in "Hungry Larry", which takes place after "Storm the Castle", when Star's wand was cleaved.
    • Also according to Star and Marco's Guide, Love Sentence is in Echo Creek on Friday, April 1,[28] and 2016 is the only year after 2015 in which April 1 falls on a Friday.
